LOUD CEO: “Is it realistic to create a competitive lineup in CS:GO right now? Practically impossible.”

LOUD CEO Bruno Playhard Oliveira Bittencourt speculated on the possibility of building a CS:GO roster. In his opinion, to build a competitive roster, you need to invest a lot of money, because the cost of one player level 1 can be from $400-$600 thousand. His thoughts he shared at the broadcast, his words from the streaming portal cited Cyber.

CS:GO is an extremely difficult discipline. Are we going to sign a lineup that will win all the majors? It’s very complicated and very expensive. Nowadays a level-1 player costs $400-$600k.

Do we want to expand into new games? Yes, absolutely. Is it feasible to create a competitive lineup in CS:GO now? It is practically impossible.

LOUD is a popular Brazilian eSports organization with rosters for Free Fire, Fortnite, League of Legends and Valorant. In 2022, the Valorant and Free Fire rosters won Valorant Champions 2022 and Liga Brasileira de Free Fire 2022, respectively.

As someone who’s been following the CS:GO scene for years, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to build a competitive roster. While I respect LOUD’s decision not to invest in the game at this time, I hope they’ll keep an eye on the scene and consider getting involved if the right opportunity presents itself.

While it’s true that building a successful CS:GO roster can be incredibly expensive, I think it’s important for organizations like LOUD to consider investing in the game if they want to continue expanding into new markets. CS:GO has a huge following and a lot of potential for growth, and I’d hate to see organizations miss out on that opportunity )

It’s understandable that building a competitive CS:GO roster would be expensive, but it’s disappointing to hear that LOUD doesn’t think it’s feasible. As a fan of the organization’s other rosters, I would have loved to see them enter the CS:GO scene and compete at the highest level…
